Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met today in Munich with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic, Robert Kalinak, on the sidelines of the 62nd Munich Security Conference.

"A warm and constructive discussion with Robert Kalinak on improving bilateral relations between Serbia and Slovakia, as well as further strengthening cooperation in defense, security, and military-technical collaboration.

We talked about shared security challenges, modernization of defense capacities, and opportunities for more intensive cooperation between our institutions, with the understanding that regional stability and mutual trust are the foundation for any further progress. I especially thanked Slovakia for its principled support of Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Serbia remains committed to building strong partnerships with friendly countries and will continue working to maintain peace, stability, and security in the region, while further developing political, economic, and security ties for mutual benefit," Vučić wrote.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met in Munich, where he is participating in the 62nd Munich Security Conference, with Federal Foreign Minister of Germany, Johann Wadephul.

"An important meeting with Johann Wadephul during which we discussed bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Germany, our country’s European path, as well as challenges in geopolitics, security, and the economy.

In a time of tectonic global changes, heightened tensions, and polarizations, Serbia makes decisions seriously and continues dialogue and cooperation with its partners, among whom Germany is one of the most important. We talked about the implementation of joint projects, especially in energy and infrastructure, while expressing gratitude to Germany for its ongoing support for Serbia’s economic development and reform efforts. We paid particular attention to Serbia’s European path and regional stability.

Our country remains committed to strengthening relations with the Federal Republic of Germany, confident that comprehensive bilateral cooperation and sincere dialogue contribute to stability and prosperity for all our citizens," Vučić wrote.
