Terrifying footage released: Moment of ballistic missile impact caught; casualties and injured being counted

Sirens from emergency services were heard throughout the city.

Local media published photos and videos of the injured, and many buildings near the explosion had their windows shattered.

"This morning, the enemy launched a missile attack on Dnipro. It is currently known that three people have been killed. There are injured — preliminarily, eight people. The rescue operation is ongoing," representatives of the local authorities said in their first statement.

The number of victims later increased.

A video of the moment the Russian ballistic missile struck was also posted on social media. It shows the projectile falling from the sky at high speed, followed by a massive explosion.

According to data from the Ukrainian State Emergency Service, the attack hit a car repair shop and nearby industrial buildings, causing fires that spread to a garage and the roof of a five-story building.

The Ukrainian Air Force warned of a ballistic threat shortly before the attack.

Last week, on November 25, in a separate Russian attack, a young woman and a child were injured on a playground in Dnipro.

Local authorities reported that a Russian drone struck a residential area, damaging a four-story building and a nearby power line, Kurir reported.
