According to the latest information, the U.S. President’s special envoy will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday afternoon.

Therefore, as Bloomberg reports, the meeting in Florida, attended by Witkoff and the U.S. President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, was likely the last chance for Ukrainian negotiators to win Witkoff over to their side.

According to U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, 'a lot still needs to be done.'

He also emphasized that it is not only about the conditions that will end hostilities, but also about the conditions that will ensure Ukraine 'enters an era of extraordinary economic progress.'

On the other hand, an unnamed CNN source said that the talks between U.S. and Ukrainian representatives in Florida did not lead to final decisions on any issue.

'It would be premature to say that we have reached a final solution, as much still needs to be done,' the source said, adding that the participants of the meeting did touch on the most problematic points of the plan to resolve the war in Ukraine, including NATO membership and territorial concessions.

'Negotiators discussed a possible scenario in which Ukraine would effectively be prevented from joining the alliance through agreements that would have to be directly negotiated between NATO members and Moscow,' the CNN source added.
