Ohel was first handed over to the Red Cross, and then, along with the others, transferred to the Israeli army. All the hostages were first taken to a hospital, where they underwent thorough medical examinations.

Ohel also met with his parents, and his first photos have appeared on the social network X.

A video has appeared on social media showing the room in Raim ready and waiting for Alon after his release from Hamas captivity.

His mother, Idit, was also there and left a message for her son:

“Alon, you are very loved,” was written on the note.

According to media reports, Ohel suffered severe injuries, including the loss of vision in one eye, while his sight in the other eye is also compromised.

The released hostages confirmed that Alon had been held in tunnels, chained, and without proper medical care, the Israeli Ministry reported.

The ministry’s statement noted that Ohel is a talented pianist who had planned to study jazz in Tel Aviv before his abduction. “We are happy that you are home and can’t wait to hear you play again,” the message read.
