Trump gave the green light to attack Russia

When asked directly whether the US president believed that Ukraine could attack Russia with long-range weapons, Kellogg replied that President Trump had given Ukraine the authority for such strikes.

"I think, after reading what President Trump said and what Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Rubio said, the answer is yes. Use the opportunity to strike from a long distance," Kellogg said and reminded that the Pentagon had not previously given Ukraine permission to carry out such strikes.

As reported by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), the US president told his Ukrainian colleague Volodymyr Zelensky that he is ready to lift the ban on striking Russian territory with American weapons.

"Everyone should follow what President Trump says. According to the US Constitution, he is the commander-in-chief of the US military and everyone obeys him. When the president goes left, you go left. If he says go right, you go right. That's the president. The last time we checked, none of us got electoral votes, but he did," Kellogg said.
