Greta Thunberg's ship was hit by a drone - a video of the attack appeared?! VIDEO

Organizers of the "Global Sumud Flotilla" fleet, which plans to break through the Israeli naval blockade of Gaza, claim the flagship of the convoy was hit by a drone in the port of Sidi Bou Said in Tunisia, from where it was planned to set sail on Wednesday.

According to the organizers, the vessel called Family, which is supposed to be carrying climate activist Greta Thunberg and other activists, was allegedly hit by a drone while in port, The Times of Israel reports.

Members of the fleet management board were on board at that moment, and all passengers and crew members are safe, the organizers announced.

A video of the alleged attack appeared on social media, but so far it has not been confirmed that the drone attack took place.

Photos are also being shared on the networks showing that the ship suffered some damage, but as it is claimed, a crew member set off a firecracker and this is the result of that, not a drone attack.

The United Nations special rapporteur for human rights in the Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, announced on the X network that she was in the port along with local authorities and organizers, trying to establish the facts.

However, the Tunisian National Guard said it had not detected the presence of drones in the area.

"According to preliminary findings, there was a fire among the life jackets on the ship that was anchored 50 nautical miles from the port of Sidi Bou Said, which arrived from Spain," National Guard spokesman Houssam Eddine Jebabli said.

"The investigation is ongoing, and so far the presence of drones has not been confirmed," concluded Jebabli.

The departure of the "Maghreb Sumud Flotilla" was previously planned for Sunday, September 7, but the organizers announced that they postponed the departure of the ships from Tunisia to Wednesday, September 10, due to "technical and logistical reasons beyond the control of the management", reports Al Jazeera.

The departure of the Maghreb Sumud Flotilla, which was meant to join the ships of the Global Sumud Flotilla that set off from Spain and Italy, had already been delayed due to bad weather.
