This may be far away, but it is an utter horror PHOTO/VIDEO
More than half of the humanitarian aid trucks from Egypt were looted at the entrance to the Gaza Strip, and the contents were later sold in local markets, according to a report by the British newspaper Al-Arabi Al-Jadid.
Of the 130 aid trucks that entered the Gaza Strip, 73 were looted by unknown actors near the Morag axis, which is under the control of the Israeli army, while only 37 trucks arrived at the warehouses of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and the Egyptian Committee for Humanitarian Aid, the newspaper reported, citing the Times of Israel.
The report also stated that Israel returned 20 more trucks to the Rafah border crossing for unclear reasons, and the Israeli military did not comment on the claims.
Former US humanitarian envoy David Satterfield said aid from the Red Crescent Societies, compared to UN aid, is more susceptible to theft by Hamas and criminal gangs because there is no international oversight of its distribution.
Also, social networks are flooded with videos of trucks that are said to be used only for taking pictures, while thousands and thousands of people and children are literally dying of hunger every day.
The few trucks that actually manage to get to the aid distribution centers are immediately surrounded by cold Palestinians who are fighting for food as if it were their last, it was also stated on social networks.
Let's recall, according to relevant data, now almost 140 people, most of whom are children, have died in the Gaza Strip as a result of malnutrition, and the images circulating around the world are shocking.
