The Russian AN-24 passenger plane, which disappeared in the Amur region, has been found, according to Russian media.
According to the first data, no one survived.
During the search for the plane, a burning body was found from the air, the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced.
"At 3:26 p.m. (9:26 a.m. Moscow time) a helicopter discovered the remains of the plane 15 kilometers from the town of Tinda on the mountainside...Preliminarily, there are no survivors," the agency's source said.
He noted that the terrain in this region is difficult to access.
Let's recall that the plane belongs to Angara Airlines and there were 49 people on board, including six crew members and five children, TASS reported.
"The plane disappeared from the radar while flying from Blagoveshchensk to Tinda, with 43 passengers, including children, and six crew members on board," said the governor of the Amur region.
The governor of the Amur region said earlier that all necessary forces and resources are being used in the search for the missing An-24 plane, RIA Novosti reports. According to initial information, the plane had no reported technical problems before the loss of contact.
