He gave in?
The American news site Axios reported that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to the talks proposed by Russia on May 15, even if Russia does not stop the attacks.

"A Ukrainian official said that Zelensky will be in Turkey on Thursday, even if Russia does not agree to start a ceasefire on Monday," Axios said, citing an unnamed source.
Ukrainian Pravda recalls that in his statement on Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was open to "direct talks" with Kyiv in Istanbul on Thursday, May 15, but did not mention the 30-day ceasefire.
US President Donald Trump also said on Sunday that Ukraine should immediately agree to talks in Turkey proposed by the Kremlin leader, although they do not include a 30-day ceasefire.
Then Zelensky spoke, saying first that he would go to the negotiations if Russia stopped the attacks, and that he would personally wait for Putin in Turkey on May 15.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha, however, doubts that the Russian side has even a fraction of the courage of President Vladimir Zelensky, who offered Russian leader Vladimir Putin a personal meeting in Turkey.
