Zelensky sent a dramatic message PHOTO
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for a global response after last night's Russian drone attack on his country.
In a direct message to Western allies, Zelensky said "new and more tangible pressure" is needed on Moscow to bring the war to an end.
The United States and European countries must not wait until April 11, when it will be a month since Russia rejected the American proposal for a ceasefire, Zelensky added.
"This systemic and ongoing nature of Russian strikes clearly shows that Moscow despises diplomatic efforts," Zelensky wrote on the X social network.
"Putin does not even want to ensure a partial ceasefire. We should not wait until April 11, when it will be a month since Russia said 'no' to the American proposal for a ceasefire. We must act as soon as possible," said the Ukrainian president.
He added that official Kyiv is ready to work with partners from the USA and Europe to achieve "a dignified and lasting peace".
On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense of Russia announced today that Ukraine has attacked Russian energy facilities twice in the last 24 hours, despite the agreement mediated by the USA.
According to that ministry, Ukraine carried out drone and artillery attacks on facilities in Russia's Kursk region.
As reported by RIA Novosti, this led to an interruption in the supply of electricity.
