As the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced today, a total of 210 tonnes of water has been dropped on the fire hotspots.

According to satellite monitoring data from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, 22 thermal anomalies have been detected in Serbia, with fire hotspots identified in the immediate vicinity of populated areas, Sputnik reported.

The operational group of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations continues its work in Serbia, coordinating with its Serbian counterparts and carrying out a range of measures to contain and extinguish fire hotspots.

 

Experts are doing everything possible to prevent the fire from spreading to residential areas and to minimize the risk to the population.
