Studentski grad issues statement: Female student's condition is very serious

The Student Center "Belgrade" has issued an appeal to everyone to respect the privacy of the student and her family during this difficult time, while the competent authorities carry out all necessary procedures and investigations.

"All employees of the Student Center 'Belgrade' and the students are deeply shaken by this tragic event. We wish to express our sincerest concern and solidarity with the family of the injured student and with everyone affected by this situation. Our priority is to provide all possible assistance and support to the student, her family, as well as to other students who were in the dorm at the time of the accident," the statement from the institution reads.

The 20-year-old girl, who fell from a height in Studentski grad in Tošin Bunar last night at 11:51 PM, was seriously injured and was transported by an Emergency Medical Service team to the Clinical Center Zemun, Tanjug was informed earlier today by the EMS service.
