Urgent warning of RHMZ: Get ready, temperature up to 40 degrees
It will be sunny and warm in Serbia today, with a weak and moderate southerly wind blowing during the day, and the highest from 34 to 38 degrees, announced the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ).
RHMZ issued a warning stating that the heat wave is expected to intensify today.
Meteorological conditions for the initiation and spread of open fires will be extremely favorable due to the dried soil and the further extension of the period without precipitation (in the domain of severe and extreme drought) in combination with sunny weather and high daily temperatures.
According to the RHMZ forecast, mostly sunny and very warm weather is expected in the next seven days.
"In the continuation of the first decade of July in the area of Belgrade, the heat wave is expected to intensify with maximum temperatures on most days from 34 to 38 degrees, and on Friday, as well as at the beginning of the next week, up to 40 degrees.
