Serbia under ice storm
Cold weather is expected in Serbia today with light to moderate morning frost, while snow is falling in some parts of the country.

Snow will fall during the morning in hilly and mountainous areas, in the area of Belgrade and southern Banat, according to the latest forecast of the State Hydrometeorological Institute (RHMZ).
In the morning hours, snow began to fall in certain parts of Belgrade, while a snow cover had already formed in Kraljevo.

Today, it will be cold, with light to moderate morning frost. During the day, it will be mostly sunny in the north-west of Serbia, and cloudy in other parts, occasionally with light snow with the formation/minor increase in the height of the snow cover. At the end of the day, the precipitation stopped. The wind is weak to moderate, north and northwest, in the Timok Krajina and the area of Homolje, and in the evening and in the south of Banat, turning to the east and southeast. Highest temperature in the range from -1 to 4 °C.
On Tuesday (February 18) in the west and north-west of Serbia, the strengthening of the morning frost with sunny periods during the day. In other regions, it will be moderately to completely cloudy and dry for most of the day, and short-term snow is possible only in places in Banat, central and eastern Serbia, as well as in mountainous areas.
On Wednesday and Thursday (February 19-20), moderate to severe frost in the morning, and mostly sunny during the day with maximum temperatures of 1 to 5 °C.
From Friday (21.02.) slightly to moderately cloudy, in the lower Danube region and in the south of Banat with occasionally strong south-east wind, and temporary weak mixed precipitation is possible for a short time on Saturday (22.02.).
Moderate morning frosts will last until the end of the forecast period (February 24), but daytime temperatures will slightly increase.
