Vučić concludes visit to southwestern Serbia; Spoke with locals, toured construction works

Comment on the EU Statement on the Ibar River

In Arilje, Vučić commented on a statement from the EU following his remarks that Serbia was considering redirecting the course of the Ibar River.

“It is important that this woman said that everything must be achieved through dialogue, but my question is whether she means the dialogue under which they even signed an agreement on the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities, or whether she means the nonexistent dialogue and the demolition of Serbian homes and the daily harassment of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. And now they suddenly remember to ask whether someone will change the course of the Ibar or not. That is still a long way off, and we have no need for it at this point, but they will see what we do and how we proceed.

They reacted to this in order to protect their Albanian protégés and once again tell them to continue committing crimes. Mojsilović spoke with the KFOR commander. Stop pretending that you are in favor of dialogue, because you are not and never have been. If you were, the Albanians would have fulfilled their obligations under the Brussels Agreement. Visit to Sports Equipment Company “Sportex”

After speaking with citizens, Vučić visited the sports equipment company “Sportex” in Arilje.

“Sportex” is a company with a long tradition in the textile and sports industries that is now engaged in the production of sports equipment.

The company is located in the Cerova neighborhood of Arilje and employs around 25 workers.

Vučić received two T-shirts as a gift from his hosts.

Inspection of construction works on the Svračkovo Dam near Arilje

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić inspected the construction of the Svračkovo dam and reservoir on the Veliki Rzav River near Arilje.

During the visit, Vučić asked when the project was expected to be completed and was told that construction should be finished in 2029 or 2030.

“At least by the summer of 2030, if we could complete it by then,” Vučić said.

He was also informed during the visit that the investment is estimated to be worth around €120 million.
