Turnout by 3:00 p.m. at 28.65%; Highest in Serb-majority areas – 46.11% in Zvečan
By 3:00 p.m., 28.65 percent of registered voters had turned out for the elections for the assembly of the provisional Pristina institutions, with the highest turnout recorded in Serb-majority areas, according to data from the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Pristina.
According to data published on the CEC website, the highest turnout was in Zvečan at 46.11 percent, followed by Ranilug at 43.78 percent, Novo Brdo at 42.19 percent, Zubin Potok at 41.69 percent, Štrpce at 37.05 percent, North Mitrovica at 31.57 percent, and Gračanica at 24.72 percent.
In Parteš, turnout stood at 30.55 percent of registered voters. As for Albanian-majority areas, turnout in Mamuša was 39.31 percent, while in Pristina 33.87 percent of registered voters had voted by 3:00 p.m., in Peć 25.19 percent, in Prizren 23.96 percent, and in South Mitrovica 28.37 percent.
Jevtić voted in Štrpce: An important day for the survival of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija
Vice President of the Serbian List, Dalibor Jevtić, voted today at the "Staja Marković" Elementary School in Štrpce in the extraordinary elections for the assembly of the provisional Pristina institutions. After voting, he urged citizens to exercise their right to vote as a way to reaffirm Serbian unity once again.
Jevtić emphasized that today is an important day for the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and expressed his expectation that every Serbian citizen will show responsibility and participate in the elections, thereby supporting the policies they believe will contribute to the survival of the Serbian people.
"To restore what I believe is very important in terms of our presence in the institutions of Kosovo, so that in those places we can protect and fight for the interests of the Serbian people. And I also think what is important is that we truly expect today to proceed in a democratic spirit, with no problems or pressures on citizens, because only in this way will we achieve the best possible results," Jevtić stated.
Metropolitan Teodosije voted in Gračanica
The Raška-Prizren Metropolitan Teodosije voted today at around 12:30 p.m. in the elections for the assembly of the provisional Pristina institutions at the polling station in the "King Milutin" Elementary School in Gračanica.
