Media: Zagorka Dolovac has left Serbia
A day after the session of the Judiciary Committee, which rejected the reports of Chief Public Prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac on the work of the public prosecution from 2020 to 2025, she flew to Amsterdam, reports Kurir.
According to Kurir, Zagorka Dolovac was accompanied only by Miljko Radisavljević, her colleague from the Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office and former organized crime prosecutor, as they decided to travel alone without security.
“Obviously, they no longer trust anyone, given that even the security team did not accompany them on the trip abroad,” a source told Kurir.
The portal reports that Dolovac and Radisavljević are actually traveling to The Hague, the capital of the Netherlands, where Eurojust is headquartered.
A source revealed that the trip is not for tourism. The two prosecutors went abroad to complain to international partners about the authorities in Serbia and to request assistance from foreign partners to help them remain in their positions.
“However, we all already know the prosecutor who has been effectively ruling the Serbian prosecution for 16 years, and we also know of a series of failed accusations by Radisavljević, which resulted in acquittals and have now cost Serbia millions of euros in compensation — examples include cases against Miroslav Mišković, Stanko Subotić, Luka Bojović, the murder of Slavko Ćuruvija, and many others,” the source said, adding that “foreign support is useless when they have lost the legitimacy of their own people,” a point confirmed yesterday at the Judiciary Committee session.
