Vučić spoke after meeting with President of Uzbekistan: Today we are opening a new and dynamic chapter PHOTO
The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is in Tashkent on an official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On this occasion, he posted on his Instagram account:
"Serbia and Uzbekistan are connected by sincere friendship, mutual respect, and a shared desire to build even stronger bridges of cooperation in the years ahead. I am especially impressed by the effort, hard work, dedication, and commitment of President Mirziyoyev, as well as by the remarkable results he has achieved in developing his country.
Today, we are opening a new and dynamic chapter in the relations between Serbia and Uzbekistan, with a clear agenda to strengthen comprehensive cooperation — particularly in the fields of economy, trade, energy, agriculture, culture, and technological development — while remaining committed to jointly addressing issues of mutual interest.
In my talks with President Mirziyoyev, I emphasized Serbia’s determination to intensively advance our relations through concrete projects and underlined that our country can serve as a bridge and strong partner connecting Central Asia with Europe, which opens vast potential for cooperation and accelerated growth in both nations. We also discussed several concrete initiatives of mutual interest that would contribute to closer ties between Serbia and Uzbekistan.
We agreed to intensify our contacts to reaffirm our shared commitment to rapid development for the benefit of our citizens," Vučić wrote.
