Vučić from Tirana: Now it is clear that it was politics all along - a colored revolution VIDEO
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić arrived at the summit of the European Political Community (EPC) in Tirana, where he addressed the public.
"I have a very important meeting with the President of the European Parliament Antonio Costa, Ursula von der Leyen and Donald Tusk," said Vučić at the beginning.
He said that he was satisfied with the talks that lasted for three hours and that hope and faith in the European future of the country was awakened in Serbia.
When asked about the request to call extraordinary parliamentary elections and the radicalization of protests, he said that he had not received any request, either verbally or in writing, from any institution, although, as he says, "they keep saying that I am not competent for anything." It seems that someone is not in charge and would like to be in charge of something, he said.
"The fewer there are, the more they fail. We can see that all the time it was politics. I said a long time ago that behind everything there is a colored revolution and politics. It's about bare politics, the worst kind of politics that has entered the faculties. They now want to create municipal committees, and these are all criminal activities. They are incompetent for everything they do, and they avoid institutions. Elections will be held in the next year and a half, when the competent institutions make a decision about it. What is important is to invite people to come to a big gathering in Nis," said President Vučić.
Elections in a year and a half
He added that he is ready to consider all requests, and that there will be elections in the next year and a half.
He pointed out that he expects unequivocal attacks for going to Moscow.
"I will try to take everything on myself, so that Serbia does not pay for it. I believe that we can progress on the European path. They pointed to the change in the geopolitical situation, we talked about the comparison with 2022, and now we believe that everything can go stronger and faster. So, it gives us an additional opportunity to advance in Europe," he added.
He said that tomorrow in Niš he is organizing a lunch for prominent people and professors who appeared there, who joined the movement and who will speak at the podium.
"All the speakers tomorrow will be from Niš, many local governments will come to present their products. We will not attack any institution, just to show how a decent and normal Serbia works. The institutions of the system will do their job.
A difficult situation in the Republic of Srpska
When asked about the situation in Republika Srpska, he pointed out that it is not a good situation and that he is concerned that stopping the flow of money to Milorad Dodik's party and his coalition partners is stopping democratic processes and imposing the will of one man.
"You can ask Cvijanović. It's not something that will be good for anyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It's a kind of stopping the process, and it's the will of someone," said Vučić about Schmidt's latest words.
As a reminder, the municipal, cantonal, entity and state levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina are suspended, in compliance with the decision of High Representative Christian Schmidt, the payment of money to the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) and the United Srpska party, which is Milorad Dodik's coalition partner in the Republika Srpska government.
