Vučić: "Russian President and Patriarch recognize well what is happening here; I'm going to Moscow on May 9"
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić addressed the public.

At the beginning, the president referred to the criminal complaint for the use of a sound cannon filed by the Democratic Party and its leader Srdjan Milivojević.
"So what can I say, it's their job, to lie every day. Everyone knows it's a lie, the FSB confirmed that. They explained what happened. If I wasn't the president, I'd say that every fool has a job to file a criminal complaint. Whether I'm going to file a counter-complaint, that's the job of my lawyers," said Vučić.
He also touched on media reports that he will attend the funeral of Pope Francis.
"I'm still not sure if I'll go to the funeral, or if I or Mr. Macut will go. I have important duties waiting for me, first I have a day-long visit by the President of Cyprus, which is extremely important for us. On the same day, the 26th, I'm welcoming another important guest."
"Direct consequences of chaos and violence"
He also touched on the lockouts.
"I think everyone is fed up with the blockades and mistreatment of people. I think everyone is scared of what they saw as a consequence of the blockades, for which I will demand responsibility, so that no one thinks that I am flattering the blockaders. Our country had to reduce the growth rate, which is a direct consequence of chaos and violence. The direct consequence will be a smaller increase in wages and pensions. To prevent such a trend from continuing, I spoke with the prime minister and ministers. I told them to return to normal life. If they want to block, let them block."
"People are a bit fed up with all that pressure, bad words, attacks, physical violence, mistreatment of journalists and everyone else. It's important to me that we continue to build."
Redistribution of the budget for faculties
"The law for mothers is important. If a man is irresponsible and won't support his family, we are here. The redistribution of the budget for colleges is also important to me. You wouldn't believe how much money we gave there. Why would we give money to those who don't want to study. We have really many good private colleges. It's up to us to try to do what's best for the country. Now we've realized that it's much better and more efficient this way. In our country, you have a rebellion of the rich and privileged. Those who were poor live significantly better and those who lived decently now live much better. This is why they think they can carry out a color revolution. They know how they can come to power, in elections. That's why they know how to come to power".
"Some used the premises of faculties all over Serbia to have committees. They used state property and state money to build party infrastructures. They will tell you that they are not parties, but they are parties. And we will defeat them again."
"You can commit as many criminal acts as you want, you will be held accountable for it. Everything we built for a decade, someone arrogantly destroyed. Now, we have to raise the country and never forget the issue of responsibility. The end of story. You will see how some gave classes and exams to foreign students for money, because foreigners did not want to accept online classes, but our poor could not be online. That is for prison, you will soon see what it looks like. Incredible things are happening, but people recognize and understand it better and oppose it."
"Blocking RTS presents an unprecedented crime"
"Those who destroyed the tractors will be held accountable. Many will be caught. You are a convicted person once and for all, you can reach whatever agreements you want. I know that many are worried about RTS. What they are doing to RTS is an unprecedented crime. That you have been blocking people's access for 10 days, that they cannot buy food, drink, that they cannot work. That this should be supported by NGOs and some outsiders, when you see all this, you wonder how it is possible. When Aleksandar Vulin held a demonstration in front of the N1, it lasted for two hours. This harassment has been going on for ten days."
"They gave up the GSP blockade because someone told them that the state would intervene, but they will continue with that violence because they cannot do it without violence."
"The red line will be when we say so. None of us are sadists, they don't want violence. We know who is the strongest, it is impossible to compete with the state because then the state does not exist. We will wait for the last moment, but we hope that we will not have to use that force."
"Some of the RTS employees have forgotten who they work for, but the RTS management will have to deal with that. They called us at 5:20 in the morning to have the police ensure that they could get inside. 18 of them 24 entered, six did not want to because of the agreement with the blockaders. At seven o'clock they again asked us to remove those who were there, again the police removed the crowd without using force, that is not a problem for the police. They reached the passage, and they all came back, because they were in agreement with the blockaders. Some think that if you work in a state company, you can do nothing, that there are no obligations."
"The first time I said there were no salaries for those who didn't work, they thought I was making a fool of myself. They said, "students will come for him", but the citizens won't pay you if you don't work. There was a one-day strike in Croatia, they didn't pay them immediately. Here, we let them go for two months, three."
"I'm grateful to the Russian President and Patriarch"
Vučić referred to Rector Vladan Djokić's letter to Prime Minister Djuro Macut.
"I'm not going to spoil Mr. Macut's surprise, he'll see for himself who he's dealing with. Do you really think you're going to continue harassing the university? You won't. You'll have the autonomy of the university, but as much money as you earn. It's over with your colored revolution. I'm very grateful to the Patriarchate of Russia, and the President of the Russian Federation, and the Serbian Patriarch, for recognizing what's happening here. Criminal structures, together with someone from the state, worked on my removal on March 15."
"The threats that people see on the streets must be punished. We will not forget. The responsibility for the destruction of Serbia will have to be borne. I apologize to some who thought it would just go away, it won't."
"They talk about repression because that is the mantra of the colored revolutions. In every one that is paid and intellectually led from the outside, there is a general mantra to disgust the people with state bodies and make a dictator who is to blame for everything. That is why they released films against me. They know how to lie and continue to lie like that. They cannot show anywhere that the police were violent, because they were violent towards the police. Marinika Tepić and other criminals attacked them in every possible way."
"I will demand responsibility as long as I live, both as a citizen and as president, for the crime in Nis. That's why I will go to Nis on the 10th or 17th of May. We received the most application forms for the new movement from Nis, where Banana and his wife are harassing them. It's not offensive, that's what they really call them. Six people from her faculty asked to join the movement. A decent Serbia will always have the support of the majority."
About the meeting between Patriarch Porfirije and Putin
Vučić addressed the attacks on Patriarch Porfirije after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"I guess they are now bigger Serbs than the patriarchs. Putin talked to me about the colored revolution, and he told me everything in three sentences. We follow everything, we know it's a colored revolution, we wish you luck in the fight and if we can help, say so. Period. This is the first time I have said what Putin told me."
"It was always clear to me that the students were not interested in the demands, and now we all know that it was all a lie. It is now clear to everyone. It is no secret. They still justify it and think it is normal. The Russian church and the state have always worked together, there has been a symphony between them for decades. Our church often thinks differently than us, but it will not overthrow the state. And that is the main thing, despite the efforts, you will never get consent from within the church to overthrow the state."
"The President of Russia and I have always had an honest, open relationship. It wasn't always easy, we didn't always agree on every issue. Nine months ago, I said that I would go to Moscow on May 9. I don't want the government of Djuro Macut to pay the price. May the sky fall on my head, I will proudly represent Serbia in Moscow. I also have work to do there. I will talk to Putin. I will have the opportunity to talk to representatives of the Republican Party and the USA. God knows what all the meetings will be like," he concluded.
