Waiter from the restaurant where Nešović was killed questioned; Suspected of two criminal offenses

P.U. (20) was questioned at the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade on suspicion that, together with other suspects, he participated on May 12 at Restaurant “27” in actions aimed at concealing the murder of Aleksandar Nešović and the perpetrators.

The suspect remained silent during questioning, exercising his legal right not to present a defense, the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office announced.

Following the hearing, the prosecution proposed to the preliminary proceedings judge of the Higher Court in Belgrade that the suspect be placed in detention to prevent him from influencing witnesses and from repeating the criminal offense within a short period of time.

P.U. is suspected of the criminal offenses of failure to report a criminal act and its perpetrator, as well as assisting an offender after the commission of a crime.

In connection with the murder of Aleksandar Nešović at Restaurant “27” in Senjak, 11 people have been arrested.
