Movie chase in Belgrade: Fleeing from the police, then lost control; There are seriously injured children
Around 1:00 p.m., a terrible traffic accident took place at the corner of March 27 and Takovska Street in Belgrade, after, as the media has unofficially learned, the driver tried to run away from the police.
During the chase, the driver lost control of the vehicle due to a burst tire and hit another vehicle, as well as people on the street.
"There was a collision between two vehicles, one hit the other and then knocked down the pedestrian as well. Police and emergency crews are on the scene," says an unofficial Kurir source.
By the way, as Kurir learns, the traffic accident happened when the driver tried to escape from the police, eyewitnesses of the accident say that as many as 10 police vehicles took part in the chase. By the way, he is suspected of vehicle theft.
"It was like in a movie, 10 police vehicles rushed after one car, at one point its tire probably burst, it was heard when it burst, the driver apparently lost control and hit another vehicle that was on the road and then people on the street," one of the eyewitnesses told Kurir.
According to the sources, there are injured people.
"A woman and a man are lying in the middle of the road, it was creepy. I also saw a child lying motionless, probably because of that force he fell out of a vehicle."
Emergency teams responded quickly and treated the injured, who were transported to nearby health facilities.
The police launched an investigation to determine all the circumstances of this dramatic chase and accident. More information is expected to be released throughout the day.
Emergency services: Two children and a man injured
Two children and one man were seriously injured in a collision between two passenger vehicles at the corner of Takovska Street and 27th March Street in Belgrade, Tanjug was told in the Emergency Service.
The injured were transported to the Emergency Center. The accident happened shortly after 1:30 p.m.
