Robots talk, play… Vučić at the AGIBOT presentation: This is a bit frightening, actually PHOTO/VIDEO
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, attended a presentation of robots by AGIBOT Innovation and a meeting with representatives of Minth Group and AGIBOT Innovation.
"This robot is amazing, I’m impressed, but it might scare people a little," Vučić laughed, after which the robots performed a Serbian kolo dance.
Company representatives will showcase the capabilities of the other robots to Vučić, and the presentation is also attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, Li Ming.
After the presentation, Vučić will hold a meeting with representatives of the Minth Group and AGIBOT Innovation.
In January 2025, the company made history by mass-producing its 1,000 general-purpose robots, setting a new milestone in the industry.
AGIBOT focuses on the integration of artificial intelligence and robotics, aiming to create general-purpose humanoid robots—robots not designed for a single task but capable of operating in various scenarios—an AI-powered robot ecosystem that can learn and adapt in the real world, and to enable mass production and commercial use of humanoid robots, which is rare in the industry.
AGIBOT is also investing in and expanding its operations beyond China.
In China, Minth supplies many globally recognized automobile manufacturers. Minth’s customers together account for 80 percent of the total global automotive market share.
The Minth Group has established over 30 production facilities across the eastern, southern, northern, and central regions of China. With the completion of its strategic layout in the Chinese market, Minth simultaneously introduced its products to the global market.
Minth Automotive Europe (MAE) was founded in 2018 in Loznica as part of the Chinese Minth Group.
The company employs over 3,000 people in Serbia, focusing on the production of components for electric vehicles, with significant investments in Loznica and Šabac, according to the company’s website.
The company’s facilities produce aluminum housings for electric vehicle batteries, body moldings, and related parts.
Minth also plans to expand capacity, including building new plants and production lines.
It supplies more than 70 global automotive brands.
By continuously increasing its export sales worldwide, the group has enhanced its research and development capabilities, with a team of 600 experts.
Sales and design centers have been established in international automotive markets such as Tokyo, Munich, and Detroit. Production facilities have been set up in the USA, Thailand, and Mexico.
Minth plans to expand into emerging markets such as India, Brazil, and Russia.
