There is still no official confirmation on whether Serbs were among the victims of Friday's train crash in southern Croatia. The victims were identified as Loren Bode, Petra Radic, Emil Gaj Andric, Kresimir Trajbar, Domagoj Alvir and Mirna Rogan, but their nationality was not stated. Earlier today, state broadcaster HRT says on its website that one victim was a man with dual Serbian and Spanish citizenship. However, Serbia's embassy in Zagreb could not confirm that information this morning, nor could they say whether a Belgrade man was among those who sustained light injuries. The embassy said more information would be available during the day. The accident happened on the Zagreb-Split line, between the Labin Dalmatinski and Kastel Stari stations. Out of 90 passengers onboard – who said the train was speeding immediately before the crash – 55 sustained light to serious injuries. The train hit several rocks and stopped on the edge of a ravine, said reports. As rescuers hurried to help the victims, an engine, traveling from Zagreb's direction, almost hit them.
