Public debt reached 61.2% of GDP at end of 2013
Serbia's public debt totaled EUR 20.09 billion at the end of 2013, which represents 61.2 percent of the country's GDP, the Public Debt Administration said.

BELGRADE Serbia's public debt totaled EUR 20.09 billion at the end of 2013, which represents 61.2 percent of the country's GDP, the Public Debt Administration said. At the end of 2012, the country's public debt totaled EUR 17.67 billion and the figure increased by some EUR 2.42 billion in 2013, and of this, the December increase added up to around EUR 590 million. Public debt reached 61.2% of GDP at end of 2013 Serbia's total direct obligations at the end of December 2013 added up to EUR 17.28 billion, with the internal debt at around EUR 7.03 billion and external debt at EUR 10.25 billion.
