Attack on home of Štrpce mayor

Unidentified attackers fired shots at the home of Strpce Mayor Bratislav Nikolic on Friday night. No one was injured in the attack. He said that seven bullet holes were noticed on the side of the house. Nikolic, his wife, two children, brother, his brother’s family, and his mother and father were all in the home at the time of the attack. Nikolic was elected mayor in the November elections organized by the Kosovo government. The population of Strpce is 70 percent Serbian and made up 30 percent of Albanians and other ethnicities.
