An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale hit Russia's Kuril Islands, reports Russia Today. The epicenter was 48 km south of the village Malokurilskoj, located on the island of Shikotan the Pacific. 6.4 earthquake in the Pacific Russian seismologists have said that the depth of the earthquake was at 41 miles.
