Combat helicopters in action - display of the landing in progress

Mi-35 combat helicopters, also known as "flying tanks" and "chariots of fire", operate to prepare conditions for a helicopter landing.

This was followed by the landing of a group of mi-17 helicopters with members of the special forces, who descend by ropes.

"Gamma" helicopters, which carry modernized "maljutka" anti-armor missiles, participate in the landing, which ends the active part of the display.

Vučić visits soldiers and tours equipment

President Vučić particularly pointed out that he is proud to see a large number of "Mosquito" drones, which can cause great damage to enemies. He also demanded that people be allowed to see the weapons immediately.

"I want to especially praise the Momo Stanojlović Institute because they worked hard, they did a very difficult and responsible job. Now we have six fully ready Mi-35 combat helicopters that we imported from Cyprus. They worked very hard, and I will know how to reward them during the distribution of Sretenje awards," he said.

Vučić emphasized the destructive power of Ataka missiles used by Mi-35 helicopters. The President also says that our Chief of General Staff believes that there is no army without tanks, despite the fact that many predict the "end of the tank era" due to the war in Ukraine.

"Everyone is asking us to deliver and hand over our tanks, and we are the first or second in Europe in terms of the number of working tanks per capita. I know 15 countries that together do not have as many tanks as Serbia," Vučić emphasized.

When asked if he would provide some tanks, he briefly said: "I will not! I have not received such a request, and even if they asked, the Chief of the General Staff would not agree."

"We couldn't even dream of this, I'm so happy and proud when I see what we have in the air, as well as air defense systems, new radars... What you will see most, all of this is Serbia, all Miloš, Lazar, Nora... 50 percent was produced here in Serbia, and 50 percent from abroad. That makes us one of the best and strongest armies in proportion to our size," he said.

The president asked the tankmen which tanks they thought were the best, and he received an almost unanimous answer that the T-72 was the best, and that ours would be better when they were modernized.
