Snow falling throughout the country has caused problems in traffic, according to the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Serbia (AMSS).

Snow falling throughout the country has caused problems in traffic, according to the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Serbia (AMSS). Many main roads have seen in as much as 10 centimeters of snow by the morning, while mountain roads have seen more than 30 centimeters. Snow causing traffic problems throughout Serbia Traffic has slowed around the country because of poor visibility, especially in critical areas such as bridges, overpasses and mountain passages. Winter equipment is necessary on all roads, especially in the Srem region, including the municipalities of Timocka and Negotinska krajina, Kopaonik, Zlatibor, Novog Pazar, Raska, Sjenica, Tutin, Pozarevac, Veliko Gradiste, Ivanjica, Valjevo and Dimitrovgrad. AMSS is warning drivers to drive carefully, especially on the Djerdap and Ibarska highways, and all other areas where the road passes through gorges and canyons.
