Justice ministry on Đinđić verdict
Ministry of justice will support any legal initiatives aimed at clarifying all aspects of Đinđić’s murder, the minister says.

Newly-appointed justice minister Dušan Petrović told B92 that the verdict was a sound proof that the Serbian judiciary could properly process even the most difficult criminal cases.He stressed the importance to elucidate all aspects of Đinđić’s murder through an appropriate legal procedure.
“I believe we should all pay our respects to the Trial Chamber that managed to act under very complex circumstances and finalize the greatest trial in history of Serbian judiciary,” Petrović said.
He also pledged his ministry’s support for the Special Organized Crime Prosecution.
Speaking of the degree of security in Serbia’s prisons, Petrović said there were no reasons to worry, adding that the security system was sound and stable.
