Fires sweep through Croatia's coastal region

A wildfire broke out on Thursday in the woods on the island of Brac in Croatia, its smoke spreading towards Split and the island of Hvar, said reports. Shortly before noon, another fire started near the town of Sinj on Mt. Kamesnica, the Croatian State Administration for Protection and Rescue announced.
