Chairman of the Bosnian Presidency Haris Silajdzic believes Serbia and Croatia owe Bosnia-Hercegovina EUR 4.5bn for the illegal use of her energy capacities. These capacities were built through joint investments in the days of the former Yugoslavia. "Serbia, Croatia owe Bosnia EUR 4.5bn" Silajdzic’s legal adviser Damir Arnaut said that this issue would be raised at the Presidency’s next meeting, reports daily Vecernji List. The dispute with Serbia concerns the status of the Zvornik and Bajina Basta hydroelectric power stations on the banks of the Drina. Bosnia-Hercegovina believes that Serbia’s debt for the Zvornik power station has reached EUR 3.7bn, while the remaining EUR 840mn is owed for use of the Bajina Basta station’s capacities.

Silajdžić’s legal adviser Damir Arnaut said that this issue would be raised at the Presidency’s next meeting, reports daily Večernji List. The dispute with Serbia concerns the status of the Zvornik and Bajina Bašta hydroelectric power stations on the banks of the Drina.

Bosnia-Hercegovina believes that Serbia’s debt for the Zvornik power station has reached EUR 3.7bn, while the remaining EUR 840mn is owed for use of the Bajina Bašta station’s capacities.
