Speaking to journalists as the debate

on the election of the new government was ongoing in the Assembly, Zivkovic remarked that PM-designate Aleksandar Vucic's behavior showed that he "would not be able to obtain this certificate."

He criticized Vucic's behavior toward members of the Assembly ("people's deputies"), saying that the prime minister exhibited "anomalies and symptoms" that Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic - who is a psychiatrist and is set to become a cabinet member - "might deal with."

Vucic afterwards addressed this statement in the Assembly by saying that he had spent the past days listening to "other insults, as well," and appraised them as "pressure meant to bring the opposition to power."

"I am talking about serious pressures that will continue until they grab the opportunity to once again pillage the state, as they have done in the past," said Vucic.
