PM "has no information" about "Brussels 2"

"I'm always ready to go to Brussels, we are very committed to continuing the dialogue with the Albanians, with whom we have no problem. The only problem is that they do not have a government," the prime minister said, referring to the post-election deadlock in Priština.

He emphasized that for this reason, he would consider it "very unfair" if someone from the international community were to say that Serbia had failed to fulfill its obligations - "because Serbia does not really have anyone to talk to."

Asked whether there was any pressure to discuss "Brussels 2" - i.e., a new agreement between Belgrade and Priština, Vučić said that "the public would already be informed if I had any information about it."

"I told (Catherine) Ashton that I am always ready to come to Brussels, I am committed to continuing the dialogue," said Vučić.

Vučić also confirmed that he would on August 28 travel to Berlin and meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, during a conference dedicated to the economy of the region, to be held on Merkel's initiative.

Vučić told reporters that he will visit China on September 10 and said that these two trips would be "very important visits, much will depend on them."

The prime minister added that President Tomislav Nikolić and he agreed that Nikolić should go to New York to attend a meeting of the UN Security Council dedicated to Kosovo.
