Govt. to discuss administration "rationalization"

The Serbian government will decide on legal acts for confirming a method of rationalizing state administration at its meeting on Thursday. Labor and Social Policies Minister Rasim Ljajic expects that union officials will give their opinions and objections on the draft law sent to their leaders on Thursday. Govt. to discuss administration "rationalization" Leader of the Alliance of Independent Unions Ljubisav Orbovic and Independence (Nezavisnost) Union leader Branislav Canak are obligated to give suggestions of the unions on the act for the rationalization of state administrative by Monday, as it was agreed upon after the two met with Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Minister Ljajic and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic last week. President of the State Administration Workers’ Union Njegos Potezica criticized the fact he was not informed of these acts, other than verbally, even though he is the leader of the union of state administrative employees. He also criticized the deadlines given for making suggestions, stating on Saturday that he had yet to see the document.
