Dacic, who was today visiting the Batajnica base of MUP's top unit, SAJ, described the international crime group as "one of the most dangerous in the region", and said police managed to arrest its members thanks to the fact there was "no leak of information", as officers prepared their operation. Earlier this week, a number of raids carried out by police forces of Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Republic of Srpska netted a total of 24 members of the gang. The group is believed to be responsible for committing a range of serious crimes, including murder, extortion, blackmail, robbery, smuggling, arms running, drug trafficking, auto theft and money laundering. Some media in Serbia reported several days ago, citing unnamed MUP sources, that the gang also planned to assassinate state officials and politicians. Dacic in Batajnica today (Tanjug)
