Ruling party premises attacked in K. Mitrovica

Unknown perpetrators threw a Molotov cocktail on the premises of the municipal and provincial committee of the Democratic Party (DS) in Kosovska Mitrovica. He also strongly condemned the perpetrators of the incident and said it was yet another attempt to stifle democracy and introduce single-mindedness, adding that certain individuals thought such things were a good way to deal with their political opponents. He demanded from the competent security forces - which, according to the Tanjug report, include "KFOR, UNMIK, EULEX, OSCE and KPS" - to conduct a comprehensive investigation into what had taken place, as that was not the first case similar things happened, and also that the perpetrators be brought to justice. "I also expect representatives of other political parties to condemn the event," said Nedeljkovic.
