Kosovo attorney Tom Gashi says he has filed criminal complaints against UNMIK officials. "I have put together an indictment that I then sent to the Pristina District Prosecutor on November 2," Gashi, who claims some UN administration officials are involved in organized crime, told reporters. Gashi also said some international officials allegedly threatened him after he forwarded his findings to the UN secretary-general, Ban Ki-moon, and UNMIK chief Joachim Ruecker, Pristina daily Koha Ditore reports. Another local newspaper, Express, has printed the names of two officials that Gashi claims are involved in illegal activity, adding that the attorney "did not rule out the possibility" that Kosovo's justice minister, Jonuz Salihaj, is also involved.
