EU readies EUR 150mn package

The EU has prepared a stimulus package of EUR 150mn for the Western Balkan countries and Turkey, to be disbursed via pre-accession funds. The European Commission’s Director General for DG Enlargement Michael Leigh said that the aid package had been prepared to help not only EU member-states, but partner countries in the region too, overcome the ongoing crisis.
