Domestic currency continues to gain

The Serbian dinar (RSD) has continued to strengthen against the euro, gaining 0.27 percent on Wednesday. The median exchange rate stands at RSD 94.1739 for one euro this morning. Domestic currency continues to gain The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) on Tuesday did not intervene in the inter-banking hard currency market. The central bank spent a total of EUR 530.8mn propping up the dinar in that market since the start of the year The domestic currency was at its lowest Jan. 28 when one euro was worth for RSD 96.3388, while dinar's high this year came on Jan. 5, with the exchange rate of RSD 89.5436. In 2008, the dinar was saw its highest value against the euro on Aug. 7, when the exchange rate was RSD 75.75 for one euro.
