Serbia's trade up more than 24 pct

Serbia recorded trade worth EUR 9.36bn from January until May this year – 24.2 percent up on the same period in 2007.

Serbia recorded trade worth EUR 9.36bn from January until May this year – 24.2 percent up on the same period in 2007. The Statistical Office said in a report released today in Belgrade that both exports and imports registered growth. Serbia's trade up more than 24 pct Exports were 23.1 percent up, while goods and services imported into the country, worth EUR 6.93bn, increased by 24.7 percent. The increased value of imports was mostly down to fuel prices, skyrocketing in the world markets.
