The Serbian Parliament has Wednesday adopted the country's budget for the next year. The lawmakers adopted a law for the 2008 budget with 132 parliamentary officials supporting the bill and 11 in opposition. Parliament passes 2008 budget The budget foresees state revenues to be RSD 639.6bn and expenses to reach RSD 654.4bn, creating a RSD 14.8bn (EUR 185mn) deficit. The proposed budget is 9.9 percent higher than in 2007, and is based on the predictions that GDP will increase next year, along with inflation rate at six percent.
