A hotel building is already rising on the plain, which, according to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, will have 400 rooms. It is being constructed in close proximity to the pavilions where participating countries will present themselves, which is considered a significant advantage.He also recently confirmed that more than 4,000 workers are employed at the construction site every day. Vučić stated that Serbia has very hardworking and capable workers, but not enough of them, which is why a large number of foreign workers are also involved in the construction of facilities for the international EXPO 2027 exhibition in Surčin.
