“We have repeatedly drawn the attention of our Turkish colleagues to the highly dangerous activities of the Kyiv regime and its ongoing attempts to attack energy infrastructure facilities connected to gas transportation via the ‘Blue Stream’ and ‘TurkStream’ pipelines,” Peskov said at a press conference, as reported by Sputnik.

He stated that Russia is taking measures to reduce the risk of what he described as attacks on the international energy system.

Peskov accused Ukrainian authorities of carrying out attacks on critical energy infrastructure facilities, citing as an example attacks on tankers in the Caspian Sea, which he described as “terrorist activity.”

“Russia’s response to these actions by Kyiv will be the continuation of the special military operation,” the Russian president’s spokesman said.

Earlier, Russian company Gazprom announced that the “Krasnodarskaya” compressor station, which is part of the infrastructure of the “Blue Stream” gas pipeline used for the export of Russian gas to Turkey, had been targeted in a drone attack.

The Ukrainian side has not commented on Moscow’s claims.

However, Gazprom issued a statement saying that the “Krasnodarskaya” compressor station, which is part of the system for supplying Russian gas to Turkey via the “Blue Stream” pipeline, was attacked by drones.

The report states that the aim of the attack, carried out last night at 7:51 p.m., was to disrupt the uninterrupted supply of Russian gas to Turkey, Sputnik reported.

The facility sustained damage, and work is underway to repair the consequences of the attack.

Thanks to the prompt measures taken, gas supplies were not interrupted, Gazprom said.
