Small plane crashes in France, no survivors
Two people were killed today in the crash of a small aircraft in the Seine-et-Marne department in northern France, and 50 firefighters were dispatched to the scene, French media reported.
The Fouga Magister aircraft took off from the Melun-Villaroche airport, located less than 20 kilometers from Chailly-en-Bière.
A search operation was launched immediately after the crash, initially involving 30 firefighters, before around 50 were later engaged in the effort.
The Seine-et-Marne prefecture announced this evening that the search had been concluded after the victims’ bodies were found, while the cause of the crash remains unknown.
