Trump defends ICE; Killed Alex Pretti spat at agents and kicked car VIDEO
U.S. President Donald Trump said that newly released video footage showed Alex Pretti yelling and spitting in the face of a calm Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis, and then forcefully kicking a government vehicle.
Trump said in a post on his social media platform Truth Social that he called Alex Pretti an “agitator and possibly an insurrectionist.”
Trump stated that the footage shows Pretti breaking the rear light on what he described as a new and very expensive government vehicle.
“ICE agents shot Alex Pretti on January 24 in Minneapolis, according to officials, because he allegedly approached them with a gun, while media outlets reported that at that moment he was holding a phone in his hand.”
CNN, citing a report that the Department of Homeland Security provided to the U.S. Congress, reported that two federal agents fired their service pistols at Alex Pretti.
