U.S. aircraft take off; Have the United States launched an attack? PHOTO
At least six large U.S. military KC-135 aircraft, which serve as aerial refueling tankers, have departed from the Al Udeid U.S. military air base in Qatar. Reports on social media also state that other aircraft were spotted taking off from the base.
Aerial refueling tankers were also withdrawn from the Al Udeid base in June 2025, prior to the Iranian attack on the base, when Iran was responding to a U.S. strike on nuclear facilities. Such behavior may indicate preparations in case of an Iranian response to a possible new act of aggression.
Donald Trump had earlier issued a series of threats against Iran, but appears to have walked back that claim, stating that the “executions have stopped.”
On the other hand, the Israeli Air Force is on high alert and is preparing for possible retaliation in the event of any Iranian missile launch.

A spokesperson for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) attempted to calm the public, stating that there have been no changes to the Civil Defense Command’s guidelines and emphasizing that the military is continuously monitoring the situation and is prepared for any scenario.
The foreign ministries of Italy, Spain, and Poland issued statements urging their citizens to leave Iran due to the security situation in the country.
