Drama at the Golden Globes: Flames and smoke erupt backstage VIDEO
The prestigious Golden Globes awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles, and during the event, there were incidents that, fortunately, the audience could not see.
During the Golden Globes ceremony, a fire broke out behind the scenes in the press room. Journalist Chris Gardner shared a video of the incident on the social network X.
According to him, it happened while food was being set up. Someone from the catering team accidentally knocked over a special “fuel” used to keep the food warm.
“The crisis was averted in the press room when someone from catering tipped over a coffee holder, igniting the sterno beneath it. For a moment, the carpet was on fire and smoke rose around the curtains. Fortunately, the fire was quickly extinguished,” he reported.
The Golden Globes ceremony was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The film Hamnet won the award for Best Drama of the Year. In the category of Best Comedy or Musical, the Golden Globe went to One Battle After Another.
