The Embassy of Serbia in Portugal announced again: We have contacted the hospitals
The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Portugal announced today that at the moment there is no information that Serbian citizens are among the injured or killed in the fall of the funicular.
The embassy stated that during the night it was in contact with hospitals, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, as well as that it will continue to monitor the situation and be in touch with the institutions in case of the need for any type of assistance for the citizens of Serbia.
Let us remind you that in Lisbon on Wednesday there was a serious accident when the funicular derailed, and on that occasion 15 people died, while at least 23 people were injured, five of them seriously.
The funicular carried more than 40 people.
