According to preliminary information from the Russian emergency services, none of the 43 passengers and six crew members of the "An-24" plane that crashed in the Amur region survived.

The burning fuselage of the plane was spotted during an aerial search on a mountainside 15 kilometers from Tinda, which was launched immediately after the plane disappeared from radar.

Fire from the fuselage of the downed aircraft was noticed by a helicopter, and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the crash site.

The aircraft, whose tail number indicated that it was built in 1976, was operated by the aviation company "Angara" based in Siberia.

The plane of "Angara Airlines" took off this morning from Blagoveshchensk to Tinda at 12:58 and stopped communicating after making a circle.

The head of the Amur Region Vasiliy Orlov specified that there were 43 passengers on the plane, five of whom were children, as well as six crew members.

The weather in the area of the plane's disappearance was bad, and the flight was initially delayed.

The Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation, and the Investigative Committee opened criminal proceedings for violation of safety regulations.
